Six Traits of Writing

Enjoy reading our Six Room Poetry. To create these free verse poems students wanted to create a mental picture for the reader. We used figures of speech and vivid descriptions to create strong images of a place that is special to us.The process started by writing ideas in six "rooms" on our paper. Reapeating words, feelings, image, light, sound and questions and when this comes together we have terrific 4th grade writing!
